The Content & Community Coordinator is a key member of the Marketing team responsible for developing and executing content, community, ambassador, event, and partnership initiatives that strengthen Free Fly’s brand and relationships within the outdoor community. This role helps translate brand strategy into meaningful programs and experiences across ambassadors, athletes, creators, conservation organizations, events, and other strategic partners. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, proactive marketer who combines strong relationship-building skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, exercise sound judgment, and move projects from planning through execution in a dynamic environment.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Community, Ambassador, and Partnership Management
  • Develop and execute community engagement initiatives that support Free Fly’s broader brand, marketing, and business objectives
  • Manage relationships with assigned ambassadors, creators, conservation organizations, and strategic community partners, serving as a primary point of contact and ensuring partnerships remain aligned with brand objectives
  • Evaluate partnership and activation opportunities and provide recommendations on priorities, timing, resources, and appropriate brand involvement
  • Develop activation plans and engagement strategies for ambassador, community, and partnership programs, including objectives, deliverables, timelines, and measures of success
  • Recommend opportunities for ambassador engagement, product allocation, content creation, events, and community activations based on brand and marketing priorities
  • Identify opportunities to deepen relationships with ambassadors, community leaders, and strategic partners and recommend initiatives that strengthen Free Fly’s presence within priority communities
  • Monitor ambassador and community activity and engagement, identifying insights and opportunities that can inform future programming
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources across Marketing, Product, Creative, PR, and other teams to execute approved partnership and community initiatives
Events and Brand Activations
  • Develop and manage event activation plans that bring Free Fly’s brand and community strategy to life across priority events and experiences
  • Evaluate event opportunities and recommend participation based on brand relevance, audience, partnership potential, and marketing objectives
  • Own the planning and execution of assigned events, coordinating internal teams, ambassadors, partners, vendors, and other stakeholders to deliver against defined objectives
  • Determine appropriate product, content, ambassador, and community involvement for assigned events within established budgets and brand guidelines
  • Develop event briefs, activation plans, timelines, and stakeholder requirements to ensure alignment across participating teams
  • Assess event outcomes and provide recommendations for future activations and programming
Content and Brand Programs
  • Coordinate product and content resources required for assigned marketing initiatives, ensuring teams have the appropriate products, assets, and information to execute against campaign priorities
  • Support content production planning by coordinating cross-functional requirements, timelines, product needs, and stakeholder communication
  • Identify opportunities to leverage ambassadors, community partners, events, and brand experiences to generate compelling content and strengthen Free Fly storytelling
  • Collaborate with Creative, Content, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure content initiatives reflect brand priorities and strategic objectives
  • Maintain systems and processes that support efficient management of content, product, and community resources
  • Identify challenges within assigned programs and recommend solutions that improve efficiency, execution, and cross-functional collaboration
Marketing Operations and Execution
  • Independently manage multiple projects and priorities, establishing timelines and determining appropriate next steps to keep initiatives moving forward
  • Maintain clear, timely communication with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment and accountability
  • Manage assigned project budgets, resources, timelines, and deliverables within established guidelines
  • Coordinate product and asset distribution associated with ambassador, community, event, PR, and content initiatives
  • Maintain accurate information and systems related to assigned programs, partnerships, and initiatives
  • Partner with the broader Marketing team to identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen relationships, and increase the impact of community and brand initiatives
Minimum Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing, brand, community, partnership, event, or related functions, preferably within a consumer brand, agency, or creative environment
  • Demonstrated experience supporting or managing marketing initiatives, partnerships, events, ambassador programs, or community activations
  • Strong understanding of brand marketing, community engagement, ambassador relationships, and/or partnership development
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate opportunities, develop recommendations, prioritize competing initiatives, and exercise independent judgment within established brand and business objectives

  • Ability to understand broader brand and marketing objectives and translate them into meaningful community, partnership, event, and content initiatives

  • Ability to build and maintain authentic relationships with ambassadors, creators, partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to independently manage assigned initiatives from planning through execution while balancing multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively across Marketing, Product, Creative, PR, and other teams to bring initiatives to life
  • Clear, timely, and thoughtful communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Genuine passion for the outdoors, movement, community, and the Free Fly brand
